[Missed the Bus]

quite decent

I feel the visuals went with the audio quite nice and you could feel kayla's intensity throughout. The animation was good, and the backgrounds were probably the highlight. Nice aerial perspective and use of color man for real. good pasing and the animated gags worked well (her dress getting caught on the fence was my favorite) I liked her long legs and the simple cartoony feel. The bright colors were nice, and the line work wasn't bad at all. cheers.

Well i do think there are a lot of good parts to this movie man regardless of entry ranks or w.e. i actually didn't realize that this was a winner man so gratz on that! throughout you showed good work, just try to focus on cleaner lines, it will make your animation a lot stronger B-) No hard feelings~ OH and yeah, get a better voice actor! i'd gladly voice act for ya if you needed someone.

[Jukes&Pogo: Violent Night]

quite good

The animation and character designs are simple and strong, and the comedic events entertaining. Only big grape is that it's a minute or two to long. Better as a short. But the script was funny regardless, the nipple ice joke, and the whole your not black stuff was genious. Overall, you left me seeing a creative and pleasurable piece, and the audio was fine for me. i loved the music choices too, dope as hell with an old school feel.

a mixed bag of things

well you did have some brillant sprite work throughout, but I sat down to watch this and was getting very agrovated by the end of it with how fucking long it was. You're wasting people's god dam time! Try to make shit simpler in the script, good 3D work tho there was a lot of effort put forth but you really gotta work on your storyboarding. and how do u expect me to read some of that text? please voice act or atleast have it for longer rather than shorter.

not bad

the transitions in the begining were espically nice, and the skull sillotte part was great. some of the drawings were a bit slop and the proportions could have been clearer, but as far as excercising great work!

Not bad

Werid how NG works eh? Your major project gets neglected but the piece you had fun with gets FP! The backgrounds were quite nice, cartoony and fitted the piece. expressions were nice and readable, I just feel you should try drawing differently next time maybe. It's not got to get stuck in one style, you should always be moving as an artist. but yeah... this is fine for what it is, i liked the attention to detail throughout. overall a good simple short. It's good to animate dreams, and my most messed up dreams were probably in my first years to dude. Keep it up regardless.

NG is a mysterious place. As far as drawing in one style goes, I do draw pretty much the same way in every project, I guess im more interested in seeing how many different ways I can render that drawing style. Whether it be tween based like my next animation will be, or clean vector art like The Telescope was. If you look back through my more recent animations you will find I have even done some photo cut out animation which I loved doing. But your right, I really do need to vary my actual drawing style more.

Glad

Very glad this has gotten a little more recognition! I saw this under judgement and was sad when it had only a 3.10 I believe. Gives animators like me hope :) I have viewed this movie around 10 times and am intrigued by it always. The blood was great and the animation always flowed nice. The expressions were real and capturing, and the cartoony props delightful. Shading and coloring were pleasing, and the sync to the audio was funny and storyboarding sweet. Very entertaining!

good attempt at a classical animation, but your sense of timing and posing doesn't really flow well. He moves way to fast and it was kinda hard to see what was really going on. slow it down and make sure every action flows visible and be careful on how you time. Good line quality, but the character could definitely be better very generic.

[contrast: a love story]

Great simple concept and you ran with it well. animation was pretty good. I felt it could have been a little smoother when the fire first engulfed them but besides from that it flowed well. good camera direction throughout and sense of pase. pretty touching tbh. It's good you have a strong love.

aww thank you! (the fire was a challenge, but i simplified it)
